Adjective word order

Normally you find  one or two adjectives maximum in front of a noun in English. However, occasionally there are times when you need to be very specific and you want to describe things in detail and need to use more adjectives e.g.

I saw the most magnificent big old white French marble statue.

and there is an established order when it comes to many adjectives

OPINION   SIZE or SHAPE   AGE     COLOUR   ORIGIN    MATERIAL
